Careers

Building a practice with us.

The firm was founded in February 2026. There is no vacancy at present, but we are always glad to hear from lawyers who combine excellent substance with an interest in technology, or a wish to get better at it, and a good sense of humour. We handle matters directly, without layers between the client and the work, so responsibility comes early and each person's contribution is visible.

What we look for

The people who do well here.

Strong substance is the starting point. What makes the difference is the ability to establish what a client wants to achieve, to take a position and to write documents that the people using them can understand. And a willingness to use technology where it makes the work better or faster.

Beyond that, three qualities matter: comfort with responsibility, excellent Dutch and English, and a sense of proportion, meaning knowing when a point is worth pursuing and when it costs the client more than it gains.

How we develop talent

Learning by doing the work, alongside an experienced lawyer.

In a boutique the development model is apprenticeship rather than curriculum, and that is the standard we intend to hold ourselves to. A lawyer joining us sits on the calls, drafts the agreement rather than a schedule to it, and gets the mark-up back with the reasoning attached. Transactional work is learned quickly in that setting, and the quality of the supervision that accompanies it is what makes the model work.
